Teghi was very sociable, only at the end of life, when she felt bad, ceased to be playful. The rat always responded to her nickname and came, so I was not afraid that she would be lost in the apartment.

My baby was getting worse, and we took her to the doctor. It turned out that the rat had a brain tumor. So that she would not suffer, we decided to put her to sleep. Teghi did not live two years ... I cried a very long time, I was sad. Animals bring pain only when they die. But I know! Teghi is not dead ... She lives in my heart and is always with me.

Now she became a big, proud, cunning cat. Now Vite is 5 years old. Most of the time she sleeps, you want to play with her, but she sleeps and sleeps. Every summer I go to the Crimea to my grandmother. There are many dogs and cats, but I will tell you about one of them.

In the process of observation, I realized that I knew very little about cats, their livelihoods, behavior, and I wanted to learn as much as possible facts from the life of these amazing animals that have lived next to man for several millennia.

From the zoological point of view, domestic cat   - a mammal of the cat family, in which there are 2 subfamilies, 4 genera and about 36 species. It is known that in Russia there live representatives of both subfamilies, 3 genera and 12 species. In Russian, the word "cat" means the female of this subspecies. A male is called a cat, and a cub is a kitten.

The ancestors of modern cats first appeared about 10 million years ago, but they were completely wild and did not communicate with people. When people started farming, their crops attracted mice and birds, and they, in turn, attracted cats.

For 10,000 years, cats have been valued by humans, including the ability to hunt rodents and other domestic pests.

The first to tame the cat were the ancient Egyptians. The earliest evidence of domestication is the image of a cat that puts on a collar, was found in one of the graves of Egyptian pharaohs.
